Our Policies

Payment Policy

Payment for in-person sessions can be made via bank transfer in advance or in cash on the day. For online sessions, please ensure payment is made by bank transfer at least 24 hours before the session. If you would like to block booking sessions to receive the complimentary discount, full payment is required prior your first session. To avoid being charged the full session fee, please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel an appointment. 

 

For Psychoeducation Workshops, payment for the entire booking (the Block) must be paid in full by bank transfer at the point of booking. If cancelling a scheduled session of the Block with less than 48 hours' notice, that session will be charged in full; if cancelling the entire Block with less than 5 working days notice, 50% of the booking fees will be refunded. Please be advised that if the Block has already completed 50% or more and the remaining sessions are being cancelled by the organiser, no refund will be payable.

Late Arrival and Cancellation Policy

My cancellation policy is designed to ensure that everyone receives timely care. ​

If you cancel a scheduled session with less than 24 hours' notice or arrive more than 15 minutes after the session start time, you are considered a late cancellation. In this case, you will be charged in full for that session. 

​If you do not show up for your appointment and have not notified me in advance, you will be considered a no-show and will be charged in full for that session.

Sometimes life gets in our way and perhaps there is another more suitable time to commit to therapy. If you cancel two scheduled sessions within a month, we can discuss your options moving forward. If I cannot reach you for this conversation, I will assume you no longer wish to continue therapy and will send an end of service notification while offering your timeslot to another client.

Documenting Contact Attempts
I will take the following steps when a client is not present at the start of a scheduled appointment:

  • At 5 minutes after the scheduled start time: Call the client

  • After 15 minutes: Consider the client a no-show

I appreciate your understanding and encourage you to notify me at least 24 hours' in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.

 

*I will do my best to accommodate rescheduling requests. Please be advised that while I aim to provide an alternative date and time within the same week, availability cannot be guaranteed.
